Wow! These photos are so beautiful! I don’t see the sunrise often enough only because I tend to be a night person. I guess I need to set my alarm clock more often!! There is nothing like a beautiful sunrise or sunset. It’s nature’s way of healing. I am lucky enough to live near the beach here in Florida, and we get some awesome sunrises too (when I’m up that early to see them)!! Anyway, hope you are feeling better. Always love to drop by!
You are right, I am finding there is much to enjoy in and around our new place – being so close to the beach being one of them; I love the beach – and my dog does too!
Thanks for stopping by, always nice to see you.
And it was for me that morning too Kieran!
I thought I’d missed the best light but took the shot anyway, then when I uploaded the pics to my pc I was so happy with it – better than I thought!
Still got the virus – which turns out to be glandular fever Angela. Contagious for another 3 weeks yet my doc says. Got a kidney infection as well! I have to have a follow-up blood test next week then see my doc again for results.
In the meantime I’m on paint killers for the joint pain and antibiotics for the kidney infection.
I never get sick like this so I’m not very happy! x
Glandular fever! So sorry to hear that and hope you can at least be comfortable with the pain killers taking the edge off and the antibiotics keeping the kidney infection at bay.
I went to doctor yesterday since I will be “officially” old next month and need a med cert to renew my driver licence. After telling me I had incredibly exceptional good health, excellent reflexes and mental acuity, he said he could not issue a cert for an unconditional licence because I can’t make a fist. My thumbs are free and I can grip the wheel properly but the govt states I must be able to make a fist. (I felt like using my fist!)
We both hope you recover quickly with no after effects.
When I took the pic of the beach, I thought I’d missed the best light, but was pleasantly surprised when I got back home and uploaded to my pc. The photo turned out a lot better than I thought!
I think that it is time to do a house exchange! What beautiful photographs and what a beautiful place to live..I have said that before…when you get fed up, I am first on the list for an exchange..
Wonderful pictures, Barb. What a compensation for the move and even the sickness to a certain extent. Hope you are feeling better. I never heard of glandular fever, but it sounds mean.
With Paradise all around you, you’ll have lots of help and incentive to get better quickly.
Thanks Joyce, we do live in a beautiful place and I hope I never take it for granted.
Feeling a bit better – it turned out to be glandular fever – no wonder I felt so bad!
Lots of bed rest they say.
I couldn’t resist going down to the beach that morning even though I was sick. It was worth it though!
I haven’t seen that movie Rebekah – is it any good?
what a stunning view
Thanks. The photo came out better than I thought it would. Hope you come by again for a visit Tinkertoot (love that name).

Absolutely breathtaking!!!
It was well worth the effort to get out of bed early to catch that sunrise!
I would get out of bed for this view any day and I am not a AM person.
You made me laugh Jackie!

Awesome shots, Barb!
What a lovely way to greet the day . . . with a walk down to such a lovely cove.
I was lucky to catch the early morning sun just at the right time – didn’t realize what a good shot it was till I got home later and uploaded it.
That is incredible. Your new home is in paradise!
Paradise is the right word!
What beauty you woke up to. Thank you for sharing it with us.
Seems I walk in beauty every day Joss!

Just finished watching an Australian movie this very minute … Lantana.
I couldn’t resist going down to the beach that morning even though I was sick. It was worth it though!
I haven’t seen that movie Rebekah – is it any good?
It was pretty good … Anthony LaPaglia was in it and I like him..
Wow I could have been there ! I stayed in bed like a wus…..as it was a wee bit chilly.
My wife Barbs never misses a great sunrise..
You need to get out of bed first Paul – you missed the best part of the day!
