  1. Congrats Barb…

I like this one – “X – Xciting. Sorry for the spelling, but can you think of an appropriate word beginning with X?” —hahahah

    • Thanks Eliz. It’s impossible to choose any specific blogs to pass the awards on to; they are all deserving.
It’s great to receive an award, but they take up so much time, and they are beginning to feel like a burden to me. Blogging is supposed to be fun, right? So this is the last one I will be participating in. I will write a thank you note to the person who sends them, and leave it at that.
My reward is reading the comments I receive on my posts – that’s all I need.

  2. Congratulations on your award, you are truly deserving of many more! I loved reading your answers, isn’t it funny how we begin to feel we ‘know’ someone just by reading their blogs?

But of course, I knew you were passionate about pets. ;-)

    • heheh – passionate about pets goes without saying! ;)
it is weird how we begin to feel that we ‘know’ others just by reading their blog. I suppose we expose little bits of ourselves over time, as we write. That’s why comments are so special.

  3. Congratulations, that is a nice award and a cute and great idea. I wanted to let you know barb , my husband and I rescued a beagle his name is Henry, middle name is Octavious…he is darling- 3 to 4 years old, we got him about 6 weeks ago, he is a handful, but adjusting well. We started adult dog obedience class last week with him and he is doing a great job. we take him as often as possible to the dog park & 2 to 3 walks a day. He is a doll.

  4. Well deserved award, because you’re awesome.

You lived in Singapore?! Oh my ..you’ve been around! Care to elaborate a little on that some time?

It’s rather cool about these lists, because you do actually get to know the person a little more.. :)

    • Naaaaww, thanks Rebekah!
Yeah, I went to school in Singapore (dad was in the Army there). Before that we had also lived in Germany too, when I was 11.
Don’t know about doing a post about that, it wouldn’t be that interesting.

      • Don’t you have any memories from there or so?

A Swedish girl, I’ve known her for ages [online only], all of a sudden mentioned …like, in passing, that she’d lived in Beirut for seven years when she was younger. Her dad was a pilot … She didn’t think that was anything special LOL

    • Oh yes, I have lots of memories, especially of Singapore. I might hunt through the old photographs from that time and put something together – you have been warned! ;) Haven’t got many memories about Germany though, nothing worth mentioning anyway.
Now see what you’ve started!! ;)

Penny for your thoughts . . .
