Reblogged from AnimalsOurEVERYTHING!:
Kindness, acceptance, tolerance -- these may be the greatest lessons we can learn from animals.
Tales of enemies coming together -- even becoming companions -- are plenty, starting with the biblical ones about the wolf and the lamb and the leopard and the goat.
"The wolf also shall dwell with the lamb, and the leopard shall lie down with the kid; and the calf and the young lion and the fatted calf together; and a little child shall lead them." Isaiah 1:6…

The World is a better place if we choose to be more giving, patient, humble, accepting. These words we can all learn from, “Kindness, acceptance, tolerance — these may be the greatest lessons we can learn from animals.” Have a blessed day my friend…
They can teach us so much.
What a lovely post… What happened to your blog titles? I now get numbers for your title headings?
I tried numerous times to change the numbers to a title, without success – I gave up in the end. WP playing silly beggars I think!
Ohhh that’s so precious! What’s the saying – I want to the kind of person my dog thinks I am?! I’m ready for a trip to Kentucky, not only to see my “human” family, but the four-legged members too!!!
Hugs,
Nicole @ Three 31
Enjoy your trip to Kentucky Nicole, and say hi to your human family and the four-legged ones too, from me!
Hugs for you.
We can learn to tolerate each other, but normally it has to be one-on-one. It’s just taking the time to get to know someone….not easy in this busy world.
Great life lesson!
Thanks for your input Jodi!
I’ve always said that humans have a LOT to learn from animals. This says it all SO well.
I learn so much just by watching Poppy, you must with Daisy. Glad you enjoyed it RD!
So true. We can all learn from the gentle kindness and affection of animals everyday. Thanks for sharing this…
They can sure teach us humans a lot about acceptance and tolerance!
We learn so much from Animals, thank you for posting this, it is beautiful.
Thanks Cathy! All we have to do is watch them.
We need abandon the Dog-Eat-Dog mindset . . . and become a Dog-Love-Dog world
oops . . . to abandon
I second that Nancy!
we have so much to learn from them, not the least of which is the unconditional love our pets share with us.
Sometimes I think they might we wiser in many ways than we are Joss!
A lovely post, Barb.
Thanks Tilly!
What a heart-warming post about tolerance and acceptance amongst animals. We have so much to learn from them. The pictures are adorable.
We can learn – if we take any notice!
Hi,
What a lovely post, and so true about the animals as well. I love the old photo with the different animals, so very unusual.
The dog and the deer are just so beautiful together, very close friends, and with animals friendships never die, they never forget. Unconditional love I don’t think humans will ever achieve that, though I would love to be proven wrong.
If only we could take a leaf out of their book Mags, we would have an almost perfect world.
