Kindness, acceptance, tolerance -- these may be the  greatest lessons we can learn from animals.

Tales of enemies coming together -- even becoming companions --  are plenty, starting with the biblical ones about the wolf and the lamb and the leopard and the goat.

Learning From Animals

Kindness, acceptance, tolerance — these may be the greatest lessons we can learn from animals.

If only we could learn to tolerate each other like this deer and the dog.

  2. Ohhh that’s so precious! What’s the saying – I want to the kind of person my dog thinks I am?! I’m ready for a trip to Kentucky, not only to see my “human” family, but the four-legged members too!!!

  3. We can learn to tolerate each other, but normally it has to be one-on-one. It’s just taking the time to get to know someone….not easy in this busy world. :-)

    What a lovely post, and so true about the animals as well. I love the old photo with the different animals, so very unusual.

    The dog and the deer are just so beautiful together, very close friends, and with animals friendships never die, they never forget. Unconditional love I don’t think humans will ever achieve that, though I would love to be proven wrong.
