Loca the Pug suffers from a mild brain disorder which affects her co-ordination.
Surgery is possible, but it comes with high risk and the owners of this gorgeous little dog have been told by the vet that she can live a long and healthy life without it, so they have chosen to leave her as she is.
The vet said Loca doesn’t even realize there is anything wrong with her – she thinks she is just like every other dog!
Have you ever seen such a happier little dog?
In spite of her ‘disability’, she enjoys life to the full – a lesson for us all, I think.

Yes, dogs are very smart – we just have to look at the services we use them for.
Love this video! She is such a happy dog
She is a gorgeous little dog, full of life!
She can teach us humans a lot…
She certainly can Eliz!
Well done. Give Loca hugs for us. Loved this.
Thanks for visiting my blog Jeff, and also thanks for the follow!
Glad you enjoyed the video of Loca – isn’t she something special?
What a precious, happy little dog. She seems to not be bothered at all that she cannot run. Thanks for sharing this. Hugs and nose kisses
She is a beautiful little dog!
What a nice story. Thanks for sharing it! Glad she lives with such loving, understanding people.
She is in the perfect family, they just love her to bits!
What a great video and story. Humans sure could learn a lot from this little pup. I agree with the owners – this little sweetie is perfect as is.
She is such a happy little thing and doesn’t realize she is any different to the other dogs!
This short story reminds me of Lester, my yellow lab who passed away years ago. I still miss him. If you get a chance, read “I Miss My Lester.” I hope your baby feel better. Thanks for this post.
Thank you Yahobahne, and I will check out your post about Lester.
What a cute video and a happy dog. I have watched a couple other of Loca’s videos. thanks.
She is a beautiful little dog, with a huge personality!
there is a lot here that us humans could learn from…happy pug, with a big happy heart
Absolutely true, Patrecia! She is just gorgeous, isn’t she?
Hi,
What a great story. She is gorgeous, and she certainly is a happy little dog, and obviously much loved. Just think of the exercise she must be getting with all the jumping around, she will always be fit.
I thought the very same thing Mags – she will never be a tubby pug with all that energy she uses!
Loca what an adorable being. We could learn so much from him and his family. May I share the video clip in my FaceBook?
Of course you may, it’s great clip, isn’t it?
Loca could certainly teach us humans a thing or two, she is adorable!
Thank you.
What a beautiful little dog & family! Loved it! Hope she lives a long happy life!
My thoughts for her too!
Thanks for popping by Janice.
I wouldn’t have had the surgery done either, had she been mine. She appears to be quite happy, and so full of life! Sweet video..
She is such a happy little dog and manages just fine. I wouldn’t have risked the surgery either Rebekah.
She certainly looks a pretty little dog and I don’t think I would ahve let her have the op either.
Happy New Year Barb!
She manages so well, and is such a happy little dog, I wouldn’t even contemplate risky surgery.
Happy New Year to you too Carole!
